George Hulbert spends much of his time helping companies to win tendered work, as well as helping them to structure their approaches and win work under the Government’s evolving social procurement agenda.
He says that one thread runs through the Government’s tendering programme is the absolute focus on leveraging wellbeing through procurement across Aotearoa. “The Government aims to improve the wellbeing of New Zealanders in ‘everything we do’, seeking ‘partnerships with businesses to create training and job opportunities for Kiwis, and particularly those who are struggling’.
